Earlier today, 14-year-old artist Meadow Miller presented the Town with a patriotic mural she painted to commemorate America's 250th anniversary. Meadow was inspired by her family's multi-generational military history, particularly her great-grandfather's service at the Battle of Iwo Jima in World War II. Town staff and the Parks Board were so proud and excited that they wanted to pose with Meadow in front of her beautiful mural! Her artwork will be on display in front of the Community Center. We hope you will come view it during this weekend's festivities!
Thank you, Meadow, for the beautiful tribute to America's history, and thank you to the Miller family for your service to our country!
