The Town's Recreational Beach Fire Program is temporarily suspended in light of ongoing beach erosion and unfavorable coastal conditions. Once ocean conditions improve and the elevated surf subsides, we will reassess the condition of our beaches to determine whether sufficient beach area remains to safely accommodate recreational fires.

At last night's Commission Meeting, family, friends, and Town staff celebrated resident Alice Graham's 105th birthday with a proclamation declaring October 27, 2026 "Alice Graham Day" in the Town of Melbourne Beach. A plaque was presented that has been installed at the 5th Avenue riverfront park, commemorating where Alice watches the sunset every day.
