Well Sealing Project

The children's water feature and Ryckman Park irrigation will be temporarily shut off due to the well sealing project taking place next to the Community Center. We apologize for any inconvenience and will notify residents as soon as water service for these features has been restored.

Polling Location Change

The polling location for the Town of Melbourne Beach is moving from the Community Center to Saint Sebastian’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, located at 2010 Oak St., Melbourne Beach. This change is effective immediately and is a permanent change of location. Mayor Alison Dennington Appointed to the NLC Small Cities Council

Alison Dennington, Mayor for the Town of Melbourne Beach, FL, has been appointed to the National League of Cities (NLC) 2025 Small Cities Council. Mayor Dennington was elected to a one-year term to develop and guide programs among local elected officials from similar communities.

Charter Review Committee Established

At the Regular Town Commission Meeting held on December 18, 2024, the Commission passed Resolution 2024-14 to establish a temporary Charter Review Committee. Each Commissioner appointed a resident to the Committee for a total of five members. The Committee will meet as necessary; the first meeting is Monday, January 27, 2025 at 3:00 pm.
