Recreational Beach Fires

Recreational beach fires are the perfect setting for memorable gatherings with your family and friends. The Town of Melbourne Beach is committed to assisting our residents and visitors enjoy this time honored tradition in a safe and controlled manner.

Within our municipal town limits, beach fires are allowed daily in designated fire pits from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and must be accompanied by a permit issued by the Town of Melbourne Beach. Beach fire permits are issued on a first-come, first-serve basis, and are only available during non-turtle nesting months (November – February).
