CAUTION: Please be advised that the area south of the 6th Avenue boat ramp has been cordoned off and is closed to the public. The ramp and remainder of the park is still usable, but please stay clear of the south section.

The historic Old Post Office situated on the southwest side of Ryckman Park has received a new metal roof. The Town Commission previously budgeted $1,400 for the roof replacement due to leaking. Public Works was able to complete the entire job using the funds allocated. The new tin roof includes wood sheathing underneath that was previously nonexistent, which improves structural integrity and eliminates leaks.
