Notice to Residents: Basin 1 Infrastructure Improvements

NOTICE: Basin 1 work has started as of today, January 5, 2026. Please keep an eye out for workers and follow all posted detour signage.

The Town of Melbourne Beach will soon begin work on the Basin 1 Stormwater Improvement Project. This important infrastructure project is part of the Town’s ongoing efforts to enhance stormwater management, reduce flooding, and improve overall water quality within our community.

Construction is expected to begin in the coming weeks and will take place in the Basin 1 area (see map). Residents may notice temporary construction activity, traffic adjustments, and equipment in the area during the project period.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these improvements are made. Every effort will be taken to minimize inconvenience and maintain access for residents throughout construction.
