Addressing MBVFD Misinformation

There has been some recent misinformation floating around social media regarding the future of the Melbourne Beach Vol. Fire Dept. On February 5, 2025 a Town Commission Workshop was held with a presentation by Fire Chief Gavin Brown on the need to adjust the current staffing model to a combination-type (hybrid) system, with a few paid staff to supplement the existing volunteers.
